Terms of Service

Chauffeur Vault · Last updated 22 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Chauffeur Vault: the website at chauffeurvault.com, the dispatch application at app.chauffeurvault.com, our mobile applications, our booking agents (website widget, phone and WhatsApp) and the AI assistant connector. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

Chauffeur Vault is software for chauffeur businesses. We are not a transport operator and we do not carry passengers. Every journey is provided by the chauffeur company that accepts the booking, under its own operator licence and its own booking terms.

1. The service

Chauffeur Vault lets chauffeur companies ("dispatchers") take bookings, price them, dispatch them to their own drivers or to a shared marketplace of vetted chauffeurs ("drivers"), track jobs live, invoice, and connect AI assistants and booking agents. We may change, add or withdraw features. Where a change materially reduces the service you pay for, we will tell you in advance.

4. Drivers

5. Fees

Depending on your plan, the following may apply: a one-time onboarding fee, a platform commission on completed bookings, and a recurring subscription. Exact fees are shown to you before you are charged and in your billing settings. Subscriptions bought on the website are billed by Stripe. Subscriptions bought in the iPhone app are billed by Apple under Apple's terms. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change fees with at least 30 days' notice.

6. Cancellations between dispatchers and drivers

Cancellations between a dispatcher and its customer are governed by that dispatcher's own booking terms.

7. Payments and settlement

Customer payments for bookings are collected by the dispatcher through its own Stripe account. Chauffeur Vault never holds customer funds. Amounts owed between dispatchers, drivers and Chauffeur Vault must be settled in accordance with the agreed terms. Late payment may result in suspension. Outstanding balances remain due after an account is closed.

8. Booking agents

The website widget, phone and WhatsApp booking agents are automated. They quote from the dispatcher's rate card, create a booking request and send the customer a secure payment link. A booking is confirmed only when it is paid, unless the dispatcher has marked the customer as a corporate account. Agents cannot change or cancel bookings. Those requests are passed to the dispatcher. Calls and messages handled by an agent are transcribed so that the booking can be created and reviewed.

9. AI assistant connector

Dispatchers may connect an AI assistant (for example Claude or ChatGPT) to their own account using the connector described in the connector documentation. When you do:

The connector may not be used to build a competing service, to extract data in bulk, or to get around the permissions, rate limits or audit controls of the platform.

10. Acceptable use

11. Your content and our platform

You keep ownership of the data you enter. You grant us the right to host, process and display it as needed to run the service. The platform, its software, designs and branding belong to Chauffeur Vault. Platform data such as the marketplace, the driver network and aggregated records may not be used outside the platform.

12. Privacy

How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Dispatchers and drivers must handle personal data obtained through the platform in accordance with applicable data protection law.

13. Availability and support

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may suspend the service briefly for maintenance or security. Support is provided by email as described on the support page.

14. Liability

Chauffeur Vault provides software. We are not party to the contract of carriage between a dispatcher and its customer, or to the arrangement between a dispatcher and a driver, and we are not liable for the performance of any journey. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or loss of business. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these terms, non-payment, professional misconduct, or where required to protect other users or the platform. On termination you remain responsible for outstanding balances, and sections 7, 11, 14 and 17 continue to apply.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice by email or in the application at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections you may have where you live.
